Applebee’s Fish is an established fish restaurant, fishmongers and street food vendor. Our mission is to offer the highest quality seafood experience in London for everyone and anyone.
Based in Borough Market, London, we have specialised in all things fish and seafood for over 20 years. Our passion has always been to provide both those from London and its visitors with the finest quality fish that comes through UK ports. As well as high-quality food, we also offer an experience to our guests to really get to know the fish that they are eating. Educating guests about where the fish has come from, sustainability and the intricate details surrounding the fish (taste, looks, texture etc.).
In the next five years we aim to have opened another couple of restaurants and numerous street food stands through London and are looking for new members to join us on our venture.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking to appoint a waiter/waitress to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests; you will offer the highest-quality of service whilst keeping a down to earth attitude, you have a natural ability to build strong relationships with others and you will be the point of contact for our guests throughout the service; always going the extra mile to meet their individual needs.
What will your duties be?
Interacting with our guests daily, understanding their individual requirements, offering the right advice and overseeing their time with us to ensure they always leave with a smile on their face.
Following our standards of service with all our guests.
Using our daily set up and closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is always prepared for service.
The role involves liaising with our customers and other members of staff predominantly face to face with some interactions of the phone.
A high level of spoken English is essential.
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to remain calm in high pressured situations.
A high level of interpersonal skills; especially empathy, patience and good humour.
A true passion for progression in hospitality.
Experience of working in, or knowledge of, the hospitality sector.
Previous experience working with fish.
Very competitive will be discussed further in interview process.
